Making good connections
The Master has often instructs his disciples to make good connections with others. We conducted overseas trips to cultivate good connections to sentient beings abroad, and at the same time learned about different Buddhist cultures and ways of life.

A pilgrimage to Ladakh 2004
In late 2004, we went on a pilgrimage to Ladakh, an ancient Buddhist territory in northern India. Buddhism began to spread to this place as early as the 2nd century. Mural drawings and the architectural style of its monasteries and stupas are evidences of its long Buddhist tradition. Its proximity to Tibet explains for the traces of Tibetan Buddhist arts and practices. In one chilling night during the trip, the Master revealed to the disciples the great Mandala Dharma. When he elaborated on the miraculous part of the Dharma, a full moon suddenly arose from the back of the tip of the mountain ranges, cutting through the darkness of the sky and lighting up our perplexed mind. This scene matched what has been described in the Mandala Sutra, in which the Buddha speaks to all the great Bodhisattvas: the full moon represents the great perfection of happiness, great accomplishment, and perfect purity and calmness. Upon hearing this, the Bodhi minds of the Bodhisattvas are all purified. We have to express our great thankfulness to the Master for imparting this great Dharma to us!
